MISSION, VISION & VALUES

Success presents itself in various forms and what's right for one individual is not necessarily right for another.

MISSION

Elementary Careers strives to make a positive and long-lasting impact for all children. To provide them with the skills and knowledge required to make informed life choices through early exposure to the innumerable pathways to success.

VISION

Our vision is for all children to learn from an early age about the breadth and depth of careers available in the world of work so that they can reach their full potential, without the barriers that harmful gender and racial stereotypes bring.

WHO WE ARE

Elementary Careers is the perfect solution for any school looking to set the highest of standards for their students when it comes to making key decisions about their future.

Our experience includes over twelve years of Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) delivery and development in both the UK and Canada, in addition to a Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development. This qualification is the national standard in the UK and is a requirement for any individual wishing to be a career education provider.

We are also the recipient of the Positive Business of the Year 2022 award from Inspire, who determined that Elementary Careers is an inspiring LGBTQ2S+ business that is leading the way with a soaring entrepreneurial spirit.

WHAT WE DO

Our main customers are educators and parents, for whom we provide:

  • The stereotype-free flashcard series OPUS

  • Quality lesson plans and printable activities to engage students in career education. Suitable for both in person and virtual settings

  • Career Days that allow students to meet workers from the community

  • Consultancy and training for teachers in need of equitable resource management, and a deeper knowledge of career guidance

INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY

Diversity is the world's greatest strength, and it is integral to everything we do.

By making traditionally underrepresented communities our main focus, our service is one that is accessible and relevant to all and seeks to include rather than exclude.
